Sixth Form Admissions

Phoenix Academy Sixth Form is an academic sixth form with the highest aspirations for its students. The vast majority of our sixth form teachers went to Russell Group universities and Oxbridge, and as such are perfectly placed to support our students to move onto the very best higher educational institutions.

Our enrichment offer ensures that students get used to university-style seminars, pursue work experience, and explore wider cultural opportunities. Through this, we seek to develop intellectual, socially minded individuals who can be the leaders of tomorrow.

Entry Requirements

To study A Levels at Phoenix  Academy Sixth Form, students must meet the following baseline requirements:

  • Five GCSEs at Grade 6 or above
  • GCSE English and Mathematics

Some subjects have additional, specific entry requirements. Please refer to the individual subjects pages for further details. Students who are predicted to achieve six subjects at a grade 6 or higher are invited to apply. Unfortunately, students whose predicted grades are lower than this will unlikely be considered for interview and their application withdrawn.
